Ksenia Angel Captivates Audience at United Nations International Youth Conference Opening Ceremony

Rising star Ksenia Angel stole the show at the opening ceremony of the United Nations International Youth Conference, held at UCLA in Los Angeles from May 30th to June 2nd.

Performing her original song, “I Love My World, I Love My Planet,” Ksenia’s powerful vocals and heartfelt message resonated deeply with the audience. The song, written and composed by Ksenia herself, expresses love for humanity and our planet, with lyrics highlighting the beauty of nature and the importance of unity. The emotional performance left some audience members visibly moved, a testament to the song’s captivating power.

This marked the debut of “I Love My World, I Love My Planet,” and the song’s official music video will be posted to the YouTube channel soon.

Ksenia extends her gratitude to Sergey Zhdanovich (producer, director, composer) for creating the song’s arrangement and to Aziza Azizova (an artist and gallery owner) for designing the stunning Earth-painted dress she wore for the performance.

Following the ceremony, Ksenia was met with an outpouring of enthusiasm from young people from all over the world,who eagerly took photos and connected with her. Ksenia expresses her heartfelt thanks to Ali Mustafa, the founder of the International Youth Conference at the United Nations, and all the organizers for the opportunity to perform at such a prestigious event.

This performance comes on the heels of Ksenia receiving a coveted U.S. talent visa, a testament to her extraordinary abilities.

Ksenia’s musical style is a unique blend of soulful ballads, reminiscent of Adele and Lady Gaga, interlaced with danceable and humorous elements, incorporating rap and spoken word. Her captivating visual style utilizes body art alongside creative and elegant dresses, often incorporating technological elements like laser gloves and futuristic headwear.

With a clear vision for her future, Ksenia aspires to become a global singing sensation. Her dreams involve performing her solo program at the various American events, with concert halls and large venues on the horizon within the next year. Her long-term goals include headlining concerts at iconic venues like the Las Vegas Sphere, Hollywood Bowl,and Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. Ultimately, Ksenia sets her sights on Grammy and Oscar accolades.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs hosted host International Youth Conference 9 (IYC9), an event bringing together youth from around the world to engage, deliberate and contribute toward multilateral solutions for a better tomorrow.

With a focus on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and youth inclusion in policy, IYC9 will feature speakers including civil society leaders, ambassadors, youth activists, academics and experts in international peace and security, science and technology, and global governance transformation. To date, more than 7,600 people from 176 countries have registered to attend the four-day conference online and in person.
