Sunset Studios has provided smart home automation and luxury cinema for over thirty years. Our work in the days of 35mm screening rooms goes back to clients like Aaron Spelling, Michael Ovitz, Barbara Walters and Herb Adelson. More recently Sunset Studios has presided over the installation service and maintenance of homes in the Beverly Hills area such as Palazza D’Amore where Sunset Studios was responsible for all the Club House systems from the Cinema & Disco Ballroom to the landscape audio.
Our experience and work in the professional film and television production arena is the foundation for our philosophy and approach to equipment choices that come with our fine home audio and theater systems designed exclusively for our clients. We structure the finest audio and video to work with an established budget and to enable, as close as possible, recreating the experience the original final mix engineers and editors enjoyed in the mastering studios. · Imagine you can see a full color 3D high resolution photograph of your fully designed theater… Before its even built!
· We will create CAD drawings of the floor plan, walls, and ceilings. Then, we add the seating layout, sight lines, and the define best viewing placement: your sweet spot.
· We provide Acoustic and Tech analysis and guide you through choices in interior acoustic, millwork details and fabric treatments.
· We will be sure that your Sound and Video are at the highest level. That’s why, during this step, we do a dimensional analysis to prepare for acoustical, sound and video optimization.
The Design Service Program Includes:
Consultation with a Tech and Design team
You will have a personal consultation with a designer and tech specialist. During this step you are able to choose your color palette options, wall and ceiling details, best seats and the right materials for finishing your theater. And of course, we will guide you to the best cinema audio and video components to fit your level of satisfaction. Some tough choices to balance the golden ratio perhaps but we will work to fulfill every link in the chain.
Design Drawings of (4) Walls, seating layout and Ceiling plan
We will create CAD drawings of the floor plan, walls, and ceilings. Then, we add the seating layout, sight lines, and best viewing placement: your sweet spot. Photo 3D CAD Rendering of Your Designed Home Theater
When you are happy with all your choices, we produce an artisan — class 3D rendering. It will give you a unique opportunity to see how your theater will look when it is installed.
Assistance in selecting materials and finishes for final approval
Seeing your theater before it is built is the best way to understand options, correct something or make additions. We will assist you in choosing the materials and equipment that matches your vision.
Finalize the Materials Board for approval and sign-off
In this step, the final color board, including all materials and finishes, is produced and integrated into your 3D theater rendering.
